Business Description
|
Chateau Bauduc is a private wine estate in Creon, a busy market town roughly halfway between Bordeaux and St Emilion. The chateau is a beautiful nineteenth century stone building, complete with twin turrets and a colonnaded south front, with lovely views from the terrace across a striking valley. The vineyards, which cover a third of the 250 acres, surround the chateau and the buildings where we make, age and bottle the wine and there is a charming farmhouse which we rent out throughout the year. We grow Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and some Malbec grapes for our ‘Appellation Controlee’ Premieres Cotes de Bordeaux and Bordeaux Superieur red wines and for our Bordeaux Rose. Our dry white wines are made from Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon vines. All our revenues go into improving the wine, the vineyards, the equipment, the premises, the team and the service we give.
