Wyndham Estate holds a special place in Australian winemaking history because it is the nation's oldest continually operating winery. It is the only winery in the Hunter Valley that is located on the Hunter River - this provides picturesque views of the wandering river and the changing scenery it creates.
Set amongst the vines is a stunning natural amphitheatre that plays host to a number of musical and theatrical events. There is also a picnic and BBQ area where you can enjoy a meal and watch the Hunter River meander by.
