As the youngest cooperative winery in the South Tyrol, set in an area where wine-growing has had a long tradition, the Cantina Produttori Valle Isarco winery has become synonymous with premium white wines.
The Cantina Produttori Valle Isarco employs a staff of 135 members from ten different municipalities: Varna, Bressanone, Funes/Tiso, Velturno, Chiusa, Laion, Villandro, Barbiano, Fiè and Renon.
In the modern building of the cooperative in Chiusa the winery produces over a million bottles of wine per year, 80 per cent of which are DOC-wines (quality wines of specified wine-growing regions).
Since there are ideal conditions for white grape types in the Valle Isarco, the Cantina Produttori Valle Isarco has specialised in producing white wines, which have earned the winery an excellent reputation at home and abroad. Owing to the quality of the grapes and their exemplary processing, the whites of the Cantina Produttori Valle Isarco are among the most sought-after South Tyrolean wines.
