Winemaker's Notes
|
Grape varieties: Agiorghitiko (Saint George). Planted in clay-sandy soils within the Appellation region of Nemea at an altitude of 500-600m.
Tasting notes: Deep red color, hints of sweet oak on the nose. Rich damson plums, mid palate. Hard-edged tannins, frank and intense.
Technical info: Classic red wine vinification, stem crusher, 10 days skin contact, low pressure alcoholic and malolactic fermentation, ageing in used Allier barrels for 12 months, followed by a 6 months bottle ageing. |
