| More and more people are discovering this rarely planted varietal. The vintage shows remarkable richness. Get ready for the adjectives that came out of a single tasting: cran-raspberry juice, black cherry, black currant, blueberry compote, creamy butterscotch, pie spice, cardamom, white pepper, sandalwood, cedar, violets and tar, cigar tobacco, leather, pencil lead and wet stones. This wine is already showing integrated tannins - it’s drinking very well now and should age for many, many years.< |
